PvtCaboose91: "a few"? Goodness!

The absolute worst piece of shite I've ever had the misfortune of seeing is Kung Pow! Enter the Fist. Horrible, horrible, terrible movie. And it's not that I don't like martial arts films or don't understand the whole spoof nature of the aforementioned "movie", it was just plain dumb. Not clever or funny in the slightest. Just dumb. Ugh.

Lol. That's not even half of the film's I absolutely detest. In comparison to what I could have listed, that is just a few...

:o

I rather liked Kung Pow! And Jackass the movie I thought was amazing.

And The New World wasn't that bad (I rather liked it too). Pearl Harbor was okay. And the first two Harry Potter movies certainly aren't my favorite but they wouldn't be what I think are the worst movies ever. If we are talking about some really crappy movies I would think of stuff like
Samurai Resurrection (2005) gawd that movie just sucked.
Oh and those comedy movies that have all these jokes that won't make any sense five years from now.

If we are talking about movies we just really really abhor in general, for me, they'd be these

There is one movie I strongly agree with you on, Chibiyusa, as a really awful movie: The Day After Tomorrow. It gets my vote as second worst movie ever.

But Perfume and the Ninth Gate? Those are some good 'ens! To each his own, I suppose. ;)

Perhaps I should make a worst of the worst list... It could prove quite fun.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 has expanded my cinematic Overton window to ridiculous extremes. As bad as most movies listed above are, they're absolute masterpieces compared to the likes of dreck the MST3k crew made fun of.

Example: Insanity-inducing incompetence has a name and it's Coleman Francis.

Night Train to Mundo Fine (aka, Red Zone Cuba)
The Skydivers
The Beast of Yucca Flats

Worst ever, though? Easy. Manos. It makes Plan 9 look like Citizen Kane.

I've been trying to pen a review for 'The Fantastic Four' for almost seven months now.
Everytime I go to write it down I feel sick with rage! Once I've cooled off enough it will get a full scathing attack.

"The Core" - Really? Really? The plot was fine, but the resolution was just ridiculous. The only good thing to come out of this movie was the Southpark episode where Cartman drills into the center of a hippie drum circle.

"The Ring II" - Bor-Ring!

Why doesn't anyone like Donnie Darko?! :D

I always have this argument with people..."Was it genius or just so incredibly strange that people just assume it's genius...???"

Cloverfield was bloody awful, I agree. And Lady in the Water...what a terrible disappointment (and Paul Giamatti too!) Have to add The Holiday to the list, even though...well, with a romantic comedy, it's kind of assumed.

I've now created my list of the worst films of all time (118 and counting...)

Worst Films of All Time

The Mighty Celestial

Rank : 2017

I don't know what could actually be the worst of all time,
but here are the worst I've ever seen in a theatre:

5. Candyman 2 - Y'know, when it comes to crappy films, my mind mind doesn't retain too much memory fot them. I honestly can't remember a single shot of this movie. I just remember not leaving the theatre b'cuz I was on a date at the time & we were watching this at her suggestion.
And I didn't want to be rude. Or maybe I just didn't want to lessen my chances of getting laid that night by criticizing her choice of film to see.
Or those two things the same thing?
And I can't even remember if I did end up gettin' any that night.
Forgettable movie, forgettable date, why am I still writing about it?

4. One of those g%dd@mn Freddy Kruger movies. I think that the quality was bad enough that it caused my brain to forget most of it, to the point that I can't remember which one it was. All I remember is that it was one of the sequels and that one of the blood vessels in my eyes popped because I wouldn't listen to it's silent yet violent twitching cries for mercy.

3. Battlefield Earth - I genuinely wanted to die during this movie.
Probably the only movie that I ever sat thru where upon the diasterous feeling that resulted from watching it, along with the diaster that the movie itself is, overwhelmed the story of diaster that the movie was supposed to depict.
I may have survived watching this movie,
but the sane aspect of my mind & every part of my soul have been permanently scarred.
A diaster flick in every sense that is possible to imagine.

2. Graphitti Bridge - Oh lord....
It just seems to get harder & harder to write comments on these movies as I get closer to #1.
What can I say about film whose story was such a mess, that it barely even qualified as a story.
Just as with the other entries on this ( with the exception of #5), I ended up walking out of this movie.
It was so bad, that I'm surprised I didn't end up walking off of a bridge, with graphitti or not.

1. Thorr The Barbarian - The fact that it was spelled with 2 'r's should have been a tip off.

The Mighty Celestial has got some issues! But then, if I saw those same 5 movies I'd lose my mind too (great choices there dude). Speaking of having issues, here are mine:
Legend of the Fall I'm sure there are people out there that loved this movie but I am not one of them! It was like pulling teeth sitting though it.
Jimmy Neutron:Boy Genius First of all, I didn't know this was a tv cartoon series. Secondly, I was bored enough one day to let two of my friends talk me into seeing this. To make the experience worse, one of them thought that this movie was so funny that said friend kept laughing so loud that not only did the people at the theater know he was having a good time but so did the rest of the world!! Needless to say I don't remember the last time we went to the theater together. Nor am I complaining.

Oooooboy. I just dredged up some more bad memories:
Under The Cherry Moon I was young and stupid. What can I say?
UHF I thought that since his music was funny that maybe the movie would be also....I was so wrong!
He Got Game Not to me he didn't! My friends and I were out of that theater in no time.
The Crying Game I cried all right! I cried,"What was I thinking!!! I had to wait outside of the theater while the rest of my friends finished watching it because I didn't drive.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show At the time I liked the music video to "The Time Warp" so I thought that maybe I'll like the movie. WRONG! I'd rather sit through The Wizard of Oz than this (and I usually HATE musicals). Yeah, it's a taste thing.
Monsterd Yes, this is actually a movie. I didn't know it until I saw it with some friends who rented it. Never again....never.
